Matthew Steven Kelly

Eagle Scout

May24

I was a part of Boy Scouting for as long as I can remember. I began my journey as a tiger cub and finished as an Eagle Scout. This is the highest rank among Boy Scouts and is achieved by less than 5% of its members.

The journey through scouting taught me a lot about myself and others and improved me as a person. I am a supporter of scouting and think every child should be involved. More information about the rank of Eagle Scout or scouting in general can be found here:

Scout Oath
On my honor I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country
and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong,
mentally awake, and morally straight.

Scout Law
A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly,
courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty,
brave, clean, and reverent.
